Terry Alicea, Lead Guitar born December 12th in Columbus, GA
I always loved music since I was a young child. I asked for a guitar for Christmas and my parents got me one at the time I was just 12 years old. I played all the time and during High School I played in a band and continued during the 80's. I joined the Military in the 90's and was stationed in Germany. I joined a German band and played a lot of outdoor festivals. I had a lot of fun we toured all over Bavaria and it was a very good experience. After I came home from the Military I put down my guitar for about 6 years. I fell in love, settled down and got married. I started going to church with my wife and I felt God's love and he saved me. I loved the Lord and wanted to use the talents that he gave me you see I have never had a guitar lesson this is truly a gift from GOD. Once I understood what a true gift he had given me I wanted to do more so I started seeking other like minded musicians to form a Christian band. I met my friend Don on Craigslist and we formed a bond and realized our hearts were in the same place we wanted to form the same kind of band. So this is how Arkangels began and after finding the right group of guys then we realized that our Ministry should be to go out and reach the lost and broken. I am glad to say that I am with a group of men that love the Lord and seek his direction with our Ministry.

Don Mclendon, Drummer born July 18th in Atlanta, GA
I started playing the drums at 10 years of age...and kept a drum set off and on in my life into my early thirties...playing them alone got old and I thought that my drumming days were pretty much over. To make a long story shorter...after going thru a divorce and meeting my new girl and wife Teresa...my life changed for the better. I became closer to God than ever before...I became more burdened for the souls of others...thru her and the influence she has had on me. I desired to make my life count more for the Kingdom. In 2006, I started writing many poems I guess you could call them. I felt God stirring up the music in me again...the desire to play the drums again came back to me. It was only going to be for His Glory that I wanted to play after being a part of putting together a 6 piece band called Pathfinder it ended in a way that at the time was a disappointment. During this time of waiting on the Lord for direction in my life I had shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and went thru recovery and rehab. I saw an ad on craigslist for a band in Suwannee, GA and they were looking for a drummer. I told the guy in the ad my situation and he kept in touch with me for the next few months that guy was Terry Alicea who has been a great friend and brother to me. The band he was in invited me in but it turned out to not be what I was really looking for as far as style of music. It was more Southern Gospel so Terry and I were both of the same kindred spirit and he and I decided then to build a Southern Rock Style Rhythm and Bluesy foot stomping Christian Band. Arkangels is the result of our desire to take the gospel OUTSIDE the walls of the Church to where many good people are that need to see their need for a Savior who is Jesus Christ. That is what and why I am here I will stand with these 4 other guys...in Jesus Name.

Rick Barnet, Drummer/Bassist born January 1st in Rock Hill, S.C.
I began my music career at the age of 8 playing with adults in Night Clubs, some with sawdust floors. As I grew into my teens I became involved with bands opening for such acts as CCR, Billy Joe Royal, B.J. Thomas, The Tams, Beach Boys, Rolling Stones and many many more. After that successful career I began playing the club circuit which carried me virtually all over the United States. I became a member of Arkangels after answering an on-line ad and have been happily playing with my Brothers in Christ for 2 1/2 years. I made a very good choice. Music is not what I do, it's who I am! Rockon, Rock Forever and Peace to All!

Tim Urquhart, Rhythm/Lead Guitar born August 27th in Atlanta, GA
My first exposure to music was during the summer vacations taken with my family to Clio Alabama where we visited my Mom's side of the family. Her brothers played music around that area and were featured on various local radio stations in the 50's. My fondest memories were of the times they got together to play music and folks would come from all around town to sing and dance, having a hoot, and eat homemade ice cream. At the age of twelve, I became interested in learning to play the trumpet and began lessions in school. I'm not much of a spectator; my preference is to be a participant because I enjoy doing more than watching. I joined the Marching Band in High School where I became 1st chair trumpet in the 10th grade and held that spot through graduation. As a young adult I was influenced by popular bands of the day like the Eagles, Boston, Bee Gees, Herb Alpert and Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc. My wife always told me I have an ear for music because I would hear something on the radio then sit and pick it out on the guitar. Music is my stress release. I love playing and I play at least once, sometimes twice a day. I also enjoy buying and selling guitars which is what caused my path and Arkangles to intersect. I listed a few guitars on Craigslist and Don Mclendon, looking for band members called me to see if I, by chance, would be interested in playing with a Christian based group. I was very interested, we met, and the rest is history. I've enjoyed my relationship with this group of fine men and love making music with them. It appears God knows what we need in life at just the right time and good things happen.

Music was always a part of my life my mother and friend used to sit around and play old country and gospel tunes. I started driving a truck in the mid 1980's it left me allot of time sitting behind the wheel. So I learned to play the harmonica while driving down the road. This also gave me time to talk to God. But, I was not living for him. I met Don Mclendon coming out of Shane's BBQ in 2009 we spoke some about music and Christ, then parted ways. Almost 2 years past before I saw Don again. Don and Terry were forming a new Christian Rock Band, so I asked if I could come and sit in. I had given my life to God years earlier the rest is history.,
